Choosing your first heli

Coaxial models like the mCX have two counter-rotating rotors and are close to self-stabilising, which makes them forgiving indoors and a sensible starting point. Single-rotor machines such as the 120 S2 fly like a real helicopter and are the natural next step. Most Blade models carry SAFE or AS3X stabilisation, so you can dial the assistance back as your thumbs catch up.
